What sets WKLO apart from other law firms is that we just aren’t your ordinary law firm. We believe that high quality work can be done on a low-cost basis, giving everyone access to affordable legal representation. We believe in being paid for the work that we do, not the frills often associated with law firms. Your work will be done well; it just will not continue to sink your financial situation. We understand the need in our community and we are here to provide it.

Anastasia Karson – Attorney

Anastasia Karson took over Wallace Law Office/All Washington Legal Clinic in 2007, at the untimely passing of her predecessor, Dennis M. Wallace. She is licensed to practice in both Washington and Idaho, in federal and state courts. Anastasia believes in the standards of quality and representation that Mr. Wallace set in his decades of practice and is proud to continue trying to fill his shoes.

Anastasia graduated from Loyola University of New Orleans in 1999, having double minored in History and Religion, with a minor in Catholic Studies. She then earned her Master’s of Arts from the University of San Diego in 2001, also in History. After two years of teaching Social Justice at St. Mary’s Dominican High School in New Orleans, Louisiana, Anastasia enrolled at Gonzaga University School of Law and was never quite able to leave the Pacific Northwest after graduation in 2005.

Anastasia is a regular volunteer with the Washington State Bar Association’s Moderate Means Program, pairing attorneys with clients who may need additional financial assistance. In addition to the MMP,
Anastasia received the 2017 Howard Herman Achievement Award from the Spokane County Bar Association for her service to the county’s Volunteer Lawyer Program. She has represented dozens of clients on a pro-bono basis through both programs and is often called upon for service in her practice
area.

Malia Bento – Gatekeeper & Answer Retriever

An attorney is only as strong as their support and Anastasia is so fortunate to have Malia Bento working at her side each day. Malia brings the fun to what can be a mundane office routine – paperwork gets boring! Malia is the first person you will speak to when calling and the first you’ll see when you walk in the door, always with a smile on her face and ready to help.

Malia brings a side of compassion and life experience to the table at WKLO. She is the absolute gatekeeper and answer retriever. Without fail, it will be Malia who will help you get through your story and get the facts out to properly present to the attorney. Also dedicated to her community, Malia is a member of Women Dining for Women and other volunteer programs in Spokane.
